This policy explains what Moraton collects when you use the Excel add-in and the moraton.com website, why we collect it, and the choices you have. The add-in is built to keep your workbooks inside your own environment, and this policy describes what does and does not leave it.

Account details: your name, firm, work email, mobile number where you give one, and your seat on a plan.
Instructions you give: the requests you type in the sheet and the settings you choose.
Workbook content you send for a task: the cells, formulas and documents needed to carry out the request you made, processed to complete that request.
Check results: the flags raised on a workbook and the edits made, kept so the history is reviewable and reversible.
Payment data: handled by our payment processor. We see the last four digits and the status of a charge, never the full card number.
Device and usage data: IP address, Excel and operating system version, and actions taken in the add-in.
To carry out the request you made in the sheet and return the result.
To read a workbook back and report what it flagged.
To keep an edit history so changes can be reviewed and rolled back.
To take payment, manage seats and send service messages about your account.
To keep the service secure and to detect misuse.
If you give us a mobile number and opt in, we use it to send recurring automated account notification text messages about your account and your service. These are account notifications and not marketing.
No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. All of the above categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

Consent to receive these messages is not a condition of any purchase.
We share information with the providers that make the service work, which are our hosting provider, our payment processor and our support tooling, each only to the extent needed for their function, and where the law requires it. We do not sell your data, we do not use your workbook content to train models, and we do not redistribute market data.
Workbook content sent for a task is held only for as long as the task and its reviewable history require, on the retention window your plan sets. Account records are kept while your seat is active and afterwards only where tax or legal requirements apply.
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest, each firm's data is logically separated from every other firm's, and access is limited to staff who need it for their work. Data residency options are available on the Firm plan.
Ask us to delete workbook content held for a task at any time.
Export your edit history at any time.
Ask us to correct or delete your information by emailing support@moraton.com.
Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving them.
The software is sold to businesses and is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from them. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us at support@moraton.com and we will delete it.
